We can provide models that look like a falcon or an accipiter of your choice. These can be used in pest control to chase away pigeons, waders, corvids, starlings etc. Flown Line of Sight (LOS) they are not classed as ‘drones’. However they can also be flown remotely by FPV (First Person View). Flapping wings are not necessary as the natural attacking behaviour of a raptor is to stoop in fast at the prey. Flapping wings are not capable of the speeds and manoeuvres needed to attack flocks. The key to successful Rofalcon pest control is in the pilot understanding raptor hunting behaviour and making realistic attacks, then the prey will not become desensitised. These models are economic, tough and able to be deployed and recovered quickly – particularly useful for runway clearance.
